classrooms are used for education and literature.
• Margie and Tommy are the main characters in the story. They find it amusing when
they read a physical book and discover the sensation of flipping the pages.
• In their time, they are accustomed to reading moving words on a screen. However,
future knowledge reveals that only tele books will be available, stored in televisions
and computers.
• This leads Margie to reflect on the differences between her school and the schools of
the past, where human teachers were present. Margie dislikes her school for various
reasons, including the lack of peers, playground, and recess.
• She attends online classes with robot teachers, and her "school" is conveniently
located next to her bedroom, filled with electrical devices, robots, and gadgets.
• As Margie delves into her studies, she wonders about the enjoyment her grandparents
might have had, picturing children attending school together and helping each other
with assignments. She is left curious about the kind of fun they ultimately
experienced.
